I finished reading this last night after getting my physical copy. Even though my GUMSHOE-loving heart broke in many places, and I'm not sure I agree with the conclusions presented, Jesse's take is 100% solid. The first section in particular, on deconstructing investigation games and scenarios is a must-read for anyone who is a fan of the mystery/investigation genre in gaming.
This is such an awesome book! Jesse's knowledge of the mystery genre source material aids the discussion marvelously and the format of interspersed examples following each principle is excellent for comprehension.
Unchained Mysteries has given me a fresh perspective not only on the "how" to run a mystery investigation but also on the "why" mystery stories are compelling and what we can do as players and GMs to make them pop at the table.

Any chance of some more community copies?
Is there any way this could also be in
.epub
